Q1 - How do CoviX101 products work?

COVIX101 uses a mechanical approach to killing bacteria and viruses. When applied to a surface it creates microscopic molecular Nano spikes that have the ability to puncture the cell walls of any microorganisms and “electrocute” them - thereby killing them instantly upon impact. The microbes cannot adapt to this mechanical approach and are not able to mutate into superbugs.

The COVIX101 Smart Surface Technology positively charged Nano ions electrocutes and physically penetrate and kill the superbugs and viruses.

The microbes are destroyed instantly without any ability to adapt or replicate.

COVIX101 is, however, NOT a typical antimicrobial agent in terms of the method it uses to attack and kill microbes. This is also why COVIX101 will never give microbes an opportunity to become resistant to antibiotics as it uses a completely different “kill-method” which cannot be taught or replicated by the microbe. Typically microbes such as bacteria adapt to medicines or chemicals either through mutation or through gene transfer and thus create so-called “SUPERBUGS” that are difficult if not impossible to kill.

Q3 - What kind of surfaces does CoviX101 work on?

CoviX101 is designed to work on all surfaces including glass, mirror, eating utensils, electronic outlets (unless waterproof).

Q4 - Are CoviX101 products safe to use around infants, children, pregnant women, pets?

CoviX101 solution is non-toxic and poses no harm when used as directed.

Q5 - Can I use CoviX101 on my clothing?

​

Yes! We recommend using CoviX101 on top of your clothing before leaving your house as a protective measure.

Q6 - How long does a single coating last?

​

Within 30 minutes after application, the COVIX101 coating will dry and create a microscopic molecular layer of protection. The coating will attach to any hard or soft surface and cannot be washed off by regular cleaning or the use of disinfectants like alcohol or chloride. It’s much more durable than the highest grade of water-based polymer paints.

The product has been tested extensively in independent tests to survive washes up to 100 times without losing its effectiveness.

Q7 - Do I need to clean my table (or other surfaces) before applying CoviX101?

​

While CoviX101 solution can disinfect microbes on a contaminated surface, the coating is aimed at providing long-term protection. We recommend pre-cleaning the area of application so that our coating can firmly attach onto the desired area instead of debris laying on top of the area.

Q8 - Should I continue to clean my table after applying CoviX101?

​

CoviX101 is designed to complement and reinforce routine cleaning practice to provide a safe environment between cleanings.  We recommend continuing surface cleaning.
